Stint

Volunteers log hours, a coordinator approves them, and the volunteer gets an hours letter a court or school can check online.

For nonprofits, schools and service-hour programs that sign off volunteer hours.

Stint keeps records; it does not decide what a court or a school will accept.

What it does

Inside Stint

Volunteers log shifts from a private link - date, start, end, what they did. No WordPress account. Future dates, overlapping shifts and shifts under 15 minutes are refused; shifts are rounded to the quarter hour.

Coordinators approve or reject each shift, with a note. Only approved hours count.

Requirements and deadlines - court-ordered, school or general, with the hours required and the date. Each volunteer sees what is left and about how much a week it takes; the coordinator is told who is behind or past the deadline.

The hours letter - every approved shift, the total, what is left of the requirement, your letterhead and signer. It will not issue while any of the volunteer's hours are still waiting for approval.

A verification code on every letter. A court clerk or a school types it into your [stint_verify] page and sees the same totals. Codes are made with your site's own secret, so they cannot be invented.

To look at - hours waiting more than 14 days, shifts over 12 hours, volunteers behind pace.
