Let a handful of makers sell in your WooCommerce store: applications, their own products, a commission split, a payout run you can trust, and a health check.
Stallholder is for a store that wants a few makers selling alongside it - a makers' market, a co-op, a gallery shop - without installing a whole marketplace suite.
Inside Stallholder
Applications
put [stallholder_apply] on a page. Makers apply; you approve or say no from WooCommerce > Stallholder.
Their own products
an approved vendor adds products from the Products menu, sees only their own, and a new product waits for your approval.
Commission your way
a store rate, a vendor's own rate, or a product's own rate - a percentage or a fixed amount per unit - and the most specific wins.
Shipping and coupons
shipping goes to the vendor who ships, or to the store; coupons are paid for by the store, or shared in proportion.
A hold for returns
a sale is payable only once the order is completed and your return window has passed.
Payout runs you can trust
the Payouts screen shows every vendor's amount, who is under the minimum and who has no payout details. Download the PayPal Payouts file, send the money, then record the run - every order line it paid is marked and can never be paid again.
The vendor's page
[stallholder_dashboard] shows each vendor every sale, what the store kept, the shipping, refunds, what is theirs, and whether it is held, payable or paid.
A health check
a line paid twice, a refund after the money went out (it comes off the next payout), a product with no vendor, a commission bigger than the price, a suspended vendor still selling, a vendor owed money with nowhere to send it, and applications and products left waiting.
Before you start
Asked first
Does it send the money?
No. It works out who is owed what, gives you a PayPal Payouts file for PayPal vendors, and records the run when you say the money has gone. Sending it is yours, through PayPal or your bank.
What happens when an order is refunded after a vendor was paid?
The vendor's share of the refund becomes a negative balance, the health check says so, and it comes off their next payout.
Can a vendor change their commission?
No. Only a store manager can set a vendor's or a product's rate.
